Intro
Under administrative direction, you will perform professional human resources and administrative work, and administer and oversee the human resources functions of our company. The Human Resources Manager (HRM) is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Human Resources Department while ensuring compliance with employment laws and record-keeping requirements. Moreover, this position has a heavy focus on Workforce Planning & Employment, Human Resources Development, and Total Rewards & Payroll.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the executive team to ensure HR practices, policies and programs support enable, and help drive the achievement of the business’s financial and strategic objectives
- Provide leadership to direct reports helping them engage with client groups and provide a people perspective to support the successful execution of the client’s business strategy
- Serve as an unbiased consultant to the business to mitigate risk to the company by ensuring fair treatment and a balanced approach for those impacted by the implementation of the new policy, procedures, and/or organizational change, problem resolution, and human capital decisions
- Anticipate future human capital requirements based on business, industry, and market conditions
- Provide advanced HR expertise as it pertains to Total Rewards (pay, benefits, pension), Recruitment, Organizational Effectiveness, Learning & Development, and Diversity Inclusion.
- Anticipate the impact that new or cyclical HR initiatives will have on the employees and lead your team to implement them accordingly
- Partner with leaders to design future state changes (people, process, and structure), prepare change plans, and engage with leaders to implement
- Diagnose complex performance issues and work with leaders to prepare solutions and support solution implementation
- Take the lead role in the implementation of HR initiatives and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required; may consider the experience in place of degree
- 4+ years of related experience including a minimum of one year in a mentor, supervisor, or leadership role preferred
- Current work experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Manager.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Publisher).
- Proficient in HRIS software (i.e. Paylocity).
- Proficient in insurance billing and reconciliation processes.

- Effectively manage tasks and deadlines with independence
- Ability to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure
- Must be able to multitask, problem-solve, and implement innovative processes within a fast-paced environment
- Capable of developing technical writing and communications skills
- Superior organization skills
- Extensive experience in processing personnel transactions, workflow transactions, and accessing personnel reports.
- Experience in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, selection criteria, and job analyses.
